1. Make a list of 10 wants for how you want to feel about the night. What kind of things would you like to do? How would you want the atmosphere, energetic or more mellow? And use this first affirmation to get started: “Tonight I’m going to have a lot of fun!” |
I want to have a lot of fun tonight; I want to feel happy and alive! I want to feel excited, I want to watch fun shows, draw something cool to hang on the wall, hang out with a cool friend for an hour, treat myself to Starbucks, and to my favorite delicious food! I want to learn something and find interesting information or stimulating conversation! I want to dress comfortably while looking fabulous and pamper myself by doing my nails, toes, and really take time to enjoy myself. 2. Re-write the list by taking out the “I want” and rewriting in the present tense as if it was actually happening.
