Best groceries shopping in 7 steps or less

1. Make a list of all the food you want in the following format:

I want a portabella mushroom pizza with garlic

I want to buy the freshest mozzarella cheese

I want the best sour dough bread

Etc.

2. Rewrite the whole list into a simpler version:

Portabella mushroom pizza with garlic

Fresh mozzarella cheese

Best sour dough bread

Etc.

3. At the end of the list write how much you want to spend on everything!

(Not how much you think you NEED to, but how much you WANT to. Make the price reasonably small.)

4. This exercise is meant to show much less you can pay for your groceries if you take the time to decide on the price you want to pay beforehand and concentrate on that amount all the while you’re shopping. Watch how much you can save! (Now take it a step further and imagine, with no limits, anything within your hearts’ desire.. because if you use this method, you will find even the most impossible items seem within your grasp!)

“I am spending $20 or less.” (which will be the affirmation you will be repeating during shopping along with “and this shopping spree is so much fun, I found everything I wanted.”)

Repeat this 5 times every 15 min or so as you shop along with your list

5. AFFIRMATION:

I am spending $20 or less and this shopping spree is so much fun, I found everything I wanted.”

Write this on a note card and bring with you along with the list.

6.

Extra tip:

You can even decide how long you want to do this in! Say, in 30 min, then repeat:

“I am shopping and getting everything done in only 30 min as well!”
